Bottom of the table Bendigo City has conceded 46 goals in its past eight games, while Northcote City has the most imposing record in the competition.
The ladder leaders have 11 wins, three draws and one loss from 15 games and a league-best goal difference of positive 22.
The Bendigo City-Northcote City clash will be played at John Cain Memorial Park at 3pm. The Bendigo City under-20s, who are also on the bottom of the ladder, play third-placed Northcote City from 12.30pm.
Meanwhile, the Bendigo City juniors will head to Geelong with some confidence on Sunday.
Bendigo City tackles North Geelong in under-12 through to under-18 age groups and several of the Bendigo teams have great opportunities to grab all three points. The 11th-ranked under-14 squad is the best placed Bendigo team.
