In their past two games the Tigers, who are 3-1-1, have had to settle for just two premiership points instead of eight in what are results Beattie says they have no-one to blame but themselves.
Last week they lost to South Bendigo by two points in a game where the Bloods were gifted two goals – one from a reversed free-kick and then 50m penalty, and another before the ball had returned to the centre square.
And the game before against Sandhurst the Tigers gave up a final-quarter goal as a result of Kevin Clark being yellow-carded in what was a drawn QEO contest.
“We have worked really hard over the past two weeks to establish the boundaries that aren’t going to be tolerated and that if the players are going to step over it, they will face the consequences of doing so,” Beattie said on Friday.
