The show follows three young people see each other across a crowded Melbourne train station.
After missing their train they are forced to wait with each thinking about home towns in India and how they just can’t seem to get the city’s talam – its rhythm – right.
A sudden and calamitous event then changes the lives of all three, and their future in Australia.
The show was originally booked as a schools-only show but has since been made available to the general public.
Melbourne Talam is on at Ulumbarra Theatre on Tuesday, May 30, at 1pm. Visit www.thecapital.com.au/Whats_On for more details or to book tickets.
This show is recommended for people over the age of 14. It contains course language, mature themes and references to suicide.
