Bendigo Preschool, Bendigo Animal Welfare and Community Services, Foundation 97, Bendigo Masters AFL Club and the Bendigo Mountain Bike Club were among 15 groups to receive grants on Tuesday.
The Discovery Science and Technology Centre, Bendigo Bowling Centre, Bendigo Volunteer Resource Centre and the Echuca Football Netball Club also received support.
Grants were available in all areas in which the company, based in Long Gully, operates.
CVGT Australia offers employment services in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.
Acting deputy chief executive officer Craig Canham said the company took great pride in its support of community projects.
”We do this with a broader community picture in mind,” he said.
“CVGT’s promise is to deliver positive economic and social benefits to the community.”
The Bendigo Masters AFL Club had the mental and physical wellbeing of men aged over 35 in mind when it submitted its grant application.
Bendigo Animal Welfare and Community Services sought assistance for disadvantaged pet owners in need of vet care support.
Foundation 97 is working towards starting a spinal cord injury support group.
While the Bendigo Mountain Bike Club sought to supply and install a bike repair station.
The Discovery Science and Technology Centre secured funding for a three month project to create a compliant policy framework, which it believes will ensure volunteers get the most for their time at the centre.
Equipment was the priority for Bendigo Preschool, the Bendigo Bowling Centre and Echuca Football Netball Club.
The preschool will use its grant funding to buy some quality art furniture and supplies.
The bowling centre is in need of equipment for its new Bowl Patrol program, which it describes as Australia’s only national junior tenpin bowling program.
The Echuca Football Netball Club needed help to buy an enclosed trailer.
The Bendigo Volunteer Resource Centre will use the support it has received to run information sessions for volunteers.
Grant recipients outside of central Victoria include the Collingwood Toy Library, Maribyrnong Park Football, Friends of the Australian Botanic Gardens Shepparton, Spectrum Journeys, the Leeton Girl Guides and Mooroopna Secondary College.
