The small section of Colorbond fencing was “tagged” with blue, black and white spray paint.
The Country Fire Authority station is in Helm street and the fence runs alongside a walking track near the Bendigo Creek.
It comes after the City of Greater Bendigo revealed it had spent close to $100,000 of ratepayer money removing graffiti around the city over the past three years. In the current financial year, $39,000 has already been spent.
Police also arrested a man last week, after a temporary fence was tagged with graffiti outside Bendigo TAFE in Chapel Street.
