AN event promoting farm security and farmer’s health will be back for a second year.
Following the success of the inaugural event, the expo will return to Bendigo Stadium on August 24-25.
Organisers are seeking interest from prospective exhibitors, particularly those involved in farm security.
More than 1000 people came from throughout the state for last year’s event.
Heathcote Leading Senior Constable Dan O’Bree said feedback had been positive, with several farmers saying they had not realised how many security options were available.
In addition to learning about farm security, attendees were offered health checks and other information relevant to farming.
Beyondblue, Bendigo Health and the City of Greater Bendigo are among the organisations returning this year.
“Victoria Police are calling for security businesses that are interested in displaying their security products at the expo,” Leading Senior Constable O’Bree said.
He invited prospective exhibitors to contact him at the Heathcote Police Station by calling 5433 3711.
