The win has them in sixth place on the league ladder, level on wins with fifth-placed Calivil United.
Bears Lagoon-Serpentine and Calivil United meet next week at Calivil in a game crucial to each side's finals chances.
The Bears have made great strides under their new coach, former Strathfieldsaye and YCW player Cara Bastian.

The loss leaves the Eagles with just two wins for the season and in seventh place.
Meanwhile, Newbridge produced some of its best netball for the season to defeat Bridgewater in a battle of the league's current second and third ranked teams.
A powerful third quarter was the catalyst for a 49-42 victory after the Maroons led by a pair of for most of the first half.
Maroons coach Kristy Shay said her side was expecting a tough contest from the Meg Allen-coached Bridgewater and were not let down.
"Meg has her girls playing real well, so it was a good match to win," she said.
"Our third quarter was fantastic and we went into the final quarter 10 goals up.
"Bridgewater had a real good last quarter, but we just kept our composure to finish seven in front."
Shay believed patches of the third quarter produced some of the reigning premiers' best netball for 2017.
"Looking back on the game, we were happy with the win, but at times it really showed that we had a three-week break in between games," she said.
"There were times we got a lot of momentum and kept moving into attack, but at times there was a lot of pressure and our lack of match fitness caused us to make mistakes."
Last season's league best and fairest runner-up Amy Jackman was a standout for the Maroons at goal keeper, while midcourter Danielle Wiegard and goal shooter Jane Reid were others to shine.
For Bridgewater, Olivia Treloar continued her good season at goal shooter and nailed 11 goals in the final term as the Mean Machine attempted to work their way back into the match.
Pyramid Hill continued to apply the pressure to the three teams above it on the ladder with a convincing 29 goal win over Inglewood.
The Bulldogs won 54-25 at Pyramid Hill and now boast four-straight wins.
Calvil United defeated Marong 72-33.
