POLICE are urging Bendigo drivers to drive to the conditions after attending several minor crashes in the Bendigo CBD this morning.
A car collided with a tree at the intersection of Myers and Williamson streets about 8am this morning.
Only minor damage was caused to the Holden Commodore.
Police also attended a two-vehicle rear-end collision at the intersection of Wattle and High streets about 8.30am.
A Suzuki four-wheel-drive had its back window blown out by the impact after being struck by a truck, but no injuries were recorded.
Sergeant Grant Thompson said it was important drivers recognised the changed conditions.
“Due to the slippery conditions, the roads can become more dangerous. Spilled oil also remains on the roads,” he said.
“People need to drive to the conditions.”
