A black Mazda BT-50 utility (with registration 1ED-8QH) was stolen from a semi-rural property some time between Saturday, May 13, and Monday, May 15.
Sergeant Steve Cunningham said the vehicle was worth $49,100.
“The offenders didn’t enter the house but have just stolen the car and left in an unknown direction,” he said.
Thieves also made off with a gas gun from a separate Ravenswood property on Sunday, May 14.
Sergeant Cunningham said the theft happened between 12pm and 5pm at a vineyard in Mt Gaspard Road.
“The gun doesn’t discharge anything, it just makes an explosion,” he said.
Sergeant Cunningham said gas guns, used to scare birds away from the vines, were an uncommon item to be stolen.
