The Pioneers (2-4), who are away to Eastern Ranges (2-4) on Saturday, haven’t won two games straight since rounds nine and 10 of 2014.
They scored a confidence boosting win over top four side Sandringham last round and a win over the Rangers on Saturday would potentially put the Pioneers inside the TAC Cup top eight.
