While it’s still only early in the season in the new competition, the Thunder have been quick to prove they are going to be one of the teams to beat with a trio of wins against Deer Park (116), Melbourne Uni (21) and Darebin (91).
The Thunder have conceded just four goals in those three wins, with their next assignment a clash against La Trobe University at Bundoora from 4.40pm on Saturday.
It has the makings of another one-sided scoreline in favour of the Thunder given the battling La Trobe University is on the bottom of the ladder with a 0-3 record and percentage of just 11.6.
