The team, to be coached by Golden Square 17-and-under coach Melinda Keighran, includes a trio of 2016 BFNL premiership players from Gisborne, Hayley Doricic, Tyla Evans and Melinda Luke, who was joint league best and fairest last season alongside current Kangaroo Flat A-grade defender Danielle Markwell.
Golden Square and Sandhurst each has two players in the team, while Kangaroo Flat, Maryborough and Strathfieldsaye have one each.
The squad was finalised on Sunday after the second of two tryouts and includes four emergencies.
The full squad is: Melinda Luke, Holly Doricic, Tyla Evans (Gisborne); Makayle Dole, Millie Fogarty (Golden Square); Bree Heiden (Kangaroo Flat); Keely Hare (Maryborough); Ruby Turner, Sophie Shoebridge (Sandhurst); Paige Ryan (Strathfieldsaye).
Emergencies: Macy Brown (Golden Square), Georgia Lowther (Kangaroo Flat); Rebecca Eade (Sandhurst); Maya Van Es (South Bendigo).
