Some exciting youngsters were on show in the recent Gold Rush Maiden Series, including promising type Reality Bomber, who posted a slick 23.73 in winning his semi final before finishing unplaced in the rich final on Easter Sunday.
Reality Bomber returns to Bendigo on Friday afternoon and looks the runner to beat in the third event after drawing nicely in box one.
From three race starts Reality Bomber has proven hit and miss at the start, but if he gets the start right and runs anywhere near the time he posted in his win on April 12 then he will have no troubles saluting.
The highlight of the card will be the exciting clash between outstanding chasers Canya Touche and Jimmy Newob in race eight.
Canya Touche to date has registered six wins and eight placings from 18 race track appearances and has a 23.73 Bendigo win to his name, as well as a slick 25.39 Ballarat win recently.
Jimmy Newob has saluted at six of his nine starts to date, has a best at the track of 23.66 and recently scored a slick 29.54 Sandown win in a heat of the Group 2 Launching Pad.
Canya Touche has box three and Jimmy Newob box five, but both have the class to overcome their awkward draws and it will be a chase of whoever gets the clearest run wins in the battle of two potential top line sprinters.
