The two casting days are an effort by the MTC to engage with and meet experienced actors living outside of Melbourne.
Alongside the regional tour of upcoming production Melbourne Talam, MTC will work with the Mildura Arts Centre and The Capital in Bendigo who are hosting the auditions.
The Mildura auditions will be held on May 25 from 9am to 5pm while auditions in Bendigo will be held at The Capital on May 31 from 9am to 5pm.
“We have always known that Victoria is filled with talented actors and we’re very excited to connect with them in their local areas,” MTC artistic director Brett Sheehy said.
The auditions will be conducted by MTC’s casting director Janine Snape and casting executive Matt Bebbington.
