A high-calibre field is lining-up to contest the May 1 event.
Price fired a brilliant six-under par 65 to win last year's tournament by three shots against a field of more than 50 trainee professionals.
Nearly 60 trainees from across Victoria are expected in Eaglehawk for the event, which carries prize money of $5000 and a magnificent Citizen watch for the winner.
Neangar Park professional Erik Hendrix said a star-studded field would be breathing down Price's neck in a bid to unseat the reigning champ.
"Gavin Fairfax and Frazer Droop will be looking to for another victory with both having already won three events this year," he said.
"With some of the best up and coming young PGA golfers playing, visitors are welcome to come down and watch throughout the day."

Always keenly contested are the nearest the pin shootout on the par-three 10th and the longest drive contest on the sixth hole.
Hendrix was pleased to announce that despite a change in ownership, Harvey Norman Bendigo had agreed to continue its long-running sponsorship of the event.
