Runners competed across four different events – the full marathon, half-marathon, quarter marathon and relay.
Ballarat’s Julian Spence won the men’s marathon in a time of 2 hours and 35 minutes ahead of fellow Ballarat athlete Ash Watson and Bendigo’s David Meade.
Bendigo’s Sarah Jalin won the women’s marathon for the second-straight year in a time of 3 hours and 3 minutes ahead of Christa Tadich (3:40.02).
73-year-old Lavinia Petrie was third woman across the line in a time of 3 hours and 52 minutes.
Former Bendigo runner Brady Threlfell won the 26km event.
