Demons, Tigers in match of round

The Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers will get a better gauge of where they stand in the North Central Football League when they tackle Wychperoof-Narraport in round two on Saturday.

DEMON DELIGHT: Wycheproof's Andrew Mead-Harding.

The Tigers looked like an improved side when took care of St Arnaud by nine goals in round one.

That form will be put to the ultimate test against a Wycheproof team that kept reigning premier Charlton goalless in the opening round.

The Tigers have made a concerted push to spread their scoring load in 2017 and they had 10 individual goal kickers in week one against the Saints.

The biggest headache for the Tigers is coming up with a plan to quell Demons’ star Corey Jones, who opened the year with a bag of seven goals.

North Central Football League draw for round two (home team listed first): Donald v Wedderburn, Birchip-Watchem v Charlton, St Arnaud v Boort, Wycheproof-Narraport v Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers.
