Roof damaged in random attack

A CAR parked near the Bendigo CBD was written off following a random attack on Tuesday night.

The 2002 grey Ford sedan was parked on Havlin Street East when its driver-side door, mirrors and roof were extensively damaged.

The incident occurred between 5.30pm Tuesday and 9am Wednesday.

First Constable Fiona Guerin said the roof had sustained significant damage.

“It looks like someone has walked over the car,” she said.

“Police carried out a door knock in the area, but if anyone saw anything, they should contact police.”
