Fifty-four students participated in a structured program run by Bendigo Academy of Sport volleyball coaches and athletes for junior inclusion, skill progression and game play.
Academy head coach Todd Broadbent said the morning session focused on skill development, including passing, setting, spiking and serving.
"For the final part of the morning we focused on game play," he said.
"It was impressive to see students take on what they learned during skill development and implement during game play. We even had some doing three touches.
"Once we finished the clinic all the students were really happy when given a new volleyball to take with them."
It is hoped see many of the participants will play in an up-coming mini-volleyball competition.
