The meet featured 50m races in all four strokes of butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.
Bendigo East, featuring swimmers aged from seven to 14, won a swag of medals.

Girls 9 years: Lily-May Kirby 2nd, 40.17;

Mixed 14years Multi-Class: Katerina Pizzo 1st, 48.47.
50m Breaststroke:
Girls 12 years: Maggie Burke 1st, 39.36;
Boys 13 years: Charlie Whitsed 3rd , 37.95;
Mixed 14 years Multi-Class: Katerina Pizzo 1st, 51.98.
50m Freestyle:
Girls 9 years: Lily-May Kirby 3rd;
Boys 9 years: Nicholas Kearns 1st, 34.16;
Boys 10 years: Lincoln McKern 3rd, 33.42;
Girls 12 years: Zalli Lau 2nd, 30.35;
Mixed 14 years Multi-Class: Katerina Pizzo 1st, 42.82.
As well as the swimmers who won medals, the club also had a strong representation of other members who made finals.
Bendigo East has also had swimmers vie for medals at the State Sprints held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
The club was represented by 37 swimmers, two of which won medals.
Layla Day took out gold in the girls 13 years 50m backstroke in a time of 32.27, while Cameron Jordan scored silver in the boys 15 years 50m breaststroke in a time of 31.26.
As well as the medals won by Day and Jordan, Bendigo East also had Maggie Burke, James Kealy, Emily Kearns, Isabelle Renner and Kiara Verbeek reach finals.
“There were many more personal best achievements,” Bendigo East Swimming Club president Phil Downing said.
“The great performances were because of the hard work and dedication by the swimmers in the lead up to the event under the expert guidance of coaches Chris Geyer, John Jordan, Anne Sherman, Val Campbell and Kate Jordan.”
The club currently has the brother-sister duo of Cameron and Kate Jordan competing at the Australian Swimming Championships.
