White suited up for the Braves in last weekend's opening round win over the Dandenong Rangers in what was to be a one-off appearance as the club unveiled its 2016 championship banner.
But with American import C. J. Aiken again likely to be sidelined while awaiting a clerarance and a few injury worries within the playing group, White has answered coach Ben Harvey's call.
The Illawara Hawks NBL guard is also tipped to play in the Braves' April 7 clash against the Sandringham Sabres.
White will be good insurance for the reigning champions, who are seeking to win in Mount Gambier for the first time since July 5, 2013.
"We felt it was the best decision for the club with a few injuries," Harvey said.
"It was obviously a late call to play him last week - to be honest he came here completely to unveil the flag and hang out with the guys and be part of it.
"With all the Visa and injury problems we've had we felt the best decision was to reach out again to Kevin.”
Mount Gambier has not been a happy hunting ground for the Braves in recent times.
A round two loss last season represented the team's only road loss.
"There's no doubt it's a hard place to play, probably the hardest place to play in SEABL," Harvey said.
"It's been four years since we had a victory there and there's no doubt it's a great home court advantage.
"They are well coached and have two new imports, but those two imports might take a while (to gel).
"I think our team has gelled pretty quickly and if C. J does play for us it's a massive advantage."
Harvey praised the debut of import Dyami Starks, who returned 21 points, four assists, four steals against the Rangers.
"I think Dyami Starks will be a great player for our club," he said.
"I don’t like comparing players over the years, at the end of the day he has his own personality and own play.
"One thing I know about Dyami is he has a great work ethic and a great IQ of the game and his defence is fantastic."
A pleasing factor for the Braves against the Rangers was the positive contributions from the team's local content.
"Jake Cowling averaged nine minutes a game last year and had 18 and an a half minutes on the weekend, Daniel Hansen averaged about 13 and played 18," Harvey said.
"Daniel is a real impact player - he comes off the bench and hits his three point shots.
"And Chris Adkins is a guy teams forget about."
The Pioneers opened their season with a tough 87-83 win over the Albury-Wodonga Bandits.
They were forced to dig deep to score six of the last eight points inside the last two minutes of the game.
