After reaching 9-151 with the bat, Bendigo was able to dismiss Strathdale Maristians for 140.
The Goers were in early trouble at 3-28, but were able to steady through Priest, Kayle Thompson (24) and Liam Radford (14) to build a competitive total.
Ben Hann was the best of the Suns bowlers with 2-18 off six overs.
In reply, Strathdale Maristians started disastrously, losing opener Flynn Hartigan for a duck.
James Schischka formed the backbone of the Suns' innings with 65, with solid support from Reardon McIvor (16).

The Demons, led by Mitchell McConnell (59) and Dylan A'Vard (57), finished on 7-169 after 50 overs.
They were able to dismiss Eaglehawk for 104, with Nicholas Lowes the chief destroyer with 3-5 off six overs.
Strathfieldsaye claimed the under-14 A honours with a powerful win over Kangaroo Flat,
The Jets were able to dismiss the Roos for 82, with Campbell Smith top-scoring with an unbeaten 28.
In reply, Strathfieldsaye eclipsed the total in 22.1 overs for the loss of four wickets.
Batsmen Connor Lyon, who top scored with 38 not out, and Jack Gamble (three not out) were mobbed by teammates after the winning runs were struck.
Strathfieldsaye notched a double with the club's Blue team winning the under-14 B grand final against Bendigo United.
An unbeated 31 from Ryan Fox and 19 from Matthew Wellman helped Strathfieldsaye to 1-79 after 20 overs.
United was bowled out for 71 in the 20th over.
Lachlan Woodward claimed 3-7 off three overs, while Fox backed up his exploits with the ball to take 1-13.
Aidan Clemens did his best to propel United towards to victory, finishing unbeaten on 20.
An all Bendigo United under-12 A grand final was won by United Redbacks in a thriller.
Batting first, Bendigo United scored 82 off 20 overs, with Harrison Kelly top scoring with 21.
In reply, United Redbacks made their way to 84 off 19.4 overs, Aidan Corr guiding the team to victory with a patient 16.
Harrison Boyd (18) was also solid with the bat.
