EARLIER: Faulty traffic lights in Bendigo’s CDB has thrown traffic into chaos on Monday afternoon following a suspected power outage.
Lights at the Midland Highway and Mitchell Street intersection are out, as are lights on the corner of View and Barnard Streets.
Police are not currently at the scene to direct traffic.
According to Powercor’s website, a fault at Lily Street, Bendigo, has been detected.
About 435 customers in Bendigo are said to be affected by the fault, as are 124 in Ironbark.
