The Epic is Bendigo’s premier mountain bike marathon and will be raced in Spring Gully, starting and finishing at Pendlebury Park.
Competition is set to get under way at 6am with the 150km Ultimate Enduro.
There are also courses over 100km (epic), 50km (shorty), 30km (miner) and 15km (pioneer).
The course consists of single track and fire trails and includes sections of the Goldfields Track.
The Golden Triangle Epic will form round two of the National XCM Series, with the competitors to include Bendigo’s Tasman Nankervis, fresh off winning a national championship.
