Whenever councils have a cut to their allowances from State or Federal governments, they are quick to say, "We'll have to cut capital works", or, "We can't repair those roads".
How about cutting back on useless, Left-pandering events such as "community" festivals, love-ins and forums, which in reality are nothing more than brainwashing group-thinks for Socialists and "refugee" lovers, in addition to the now-mandatory "religious" cult.

Maybe Council should charge every landowner a few thousand dollars a year, and call it "Rates" - they would have millions in no time to fix the roads with.
- John Stuwe
That's what you get when Council spends money that we, the ratepayers, don't have. How is the cultural awareness going? Hope this newfound awareness fills the potholes.
- Harry Zuma
Abolish inert positions such as 'diversity officers' and wasting money making feel good brochures etc, do your job and sweep the footpath, grade the road and fix the potholes. Council not government.
- Darren Cooper
So ok then I'll be sure to put a bill in for any damage to the front end of my car for negligence of our roads.
- Matt Clark
Where do our rates go?
Where do people’s fines go?
Parking money?
But now (they are) saying lack of funding can fix foot paths. What a joke.

SHOULD PLASTIC BAGS BE BANNED IN AUSTRALIA?
I personally think they are handy for certain situations, such as carrying thing that could leak, even good for sandy and wet towels from the beach, contains the wet sand and moisture and so cheep that can be thrown away, if you had to use a more costly bag then you wouldn't want to dirty it etc.
