The five-day exhibition runs in conjunction with the Castlemaine State Festival and features work from the 75 members of the Castlemaine Branch of The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria.
Exhibition coordinator Louise Plaisted said people could expect to see a wide range of embroidery from traditional to contemporary, textiles works, natural dyeing and fabric manipulation.
Light refreshments are available and visitors can also purchase items at the stall inside the exhibition.
The Colour Magic exhibition runs until Wednesday, March 22, at the Mt Alexander Golf Club, Wimble Street, Castlemaine. Opening hours on the final day, March 22, are 10am to 3pm, with a $5 admission fee.
