Bendigo will play Strathdale-Maristians in the under-16A BDCA grand final.

The minor premier Goers scored a regulation win over Kangaroo in their semi-final clash, while Strathdale defeated Sandhurst by two runs in a thriller.

Opening batsman Reardon McIvor was the hero for the Suns as he made a superb 93 in his side’s total of 9-154.

In reply, Sandhurst’s top four batsmen all made more than 20 to put their side in the box seat.

However, the Suns’ bowled and fielded well in the final 10 overs to restrict Sandhurst to 7-152 from 50 overs.

In the under-14A division, minor premier Maiden Gully suffered a shock defeat to Kangaroo Flat.

Maiden Gully hadn’t lost a game all season, but fell short in the semi-final.
