Emergency services were called to the collision just after 8.30am, involving a Toyota Kluger and a silver Honda.
The Toyota was travelling east on Lily Street and failed to give way to the Honda headed north on High Street, police said.
The driver of the Toyota, a 59-year-old Bendigo man, will be issued a penalty notice for failing to give way, Leading Senior Constable Pat Allan said.
No one was injured in the crash.
It was the second collision this morning for Bendigo police, with the roads still wet after earlier showers.
“Take extra time to check both ways before driving on to busy roads,” Leading Senior Constable Allan urged motorists.
