Kangaroo Flat was locked in a battle with Maryvale for much of the weekend.
On the last run of the competition, Kangaroo Flat weren’t able to reel in Maryvale’s lead, finishing second in the A-section. Narre Warren finished third.
Golden Square finished third in B-section behind winners Tatura and runners-up Benalla.
In the C-section, Pakenham took home the trophy ahead of Hoppers Crossing and Eaglehawk.
Kangaroo Flat team member Jackson Dargaville said Bendigo had been very well represented.
“Eaglehawk run some good events and went well in the pumper fours. Golden Square also had a few places in the B-class section,” he said.
“Our team is pretty diverse and we manage to put blokes in the right spot that allows us to compete really well.”
Dargaville was the runner-up in the best individual firefighter award behind Maryvale’s Matt Royal.
