Bulley and the GWS-backed Giants defeated Thwaites’ Collingwood Magpies 59-51.
Thwaites scored 42 goals from just 46 attempts in another fine shooting display, but she was made to earn her goals by Giants’ defenders Bulley and Sam Poolman.
Bendigo’s third player in Super Netball – former Sandhurst defender Chloe Watson – had to settle for a draw in the Vixens’ clash with the NSW Swifts.
Watson was a standout at wing defence as the Vixens opened up a seven-goal lead in the third term. The Vixens still led by three goals with 90 seconds remaining, however the Swifts stormed home to level the game at 59-59.
"It's disappointing. The game was there to be won," Vixens coach Simone McKinnis said.
