The Bucks dipped to 26-32 in the race for an Eastern Conference playoff spot, after losing 102-95 to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Played in Cleveland, Milwaukee shot its way to a seven-point lead early in the third quarter after trailing by two points at half time.
But with Kyrie Irving (25 points, nine assists) and Le Bron James (24 points, 10 rebounds, six assists) in control, Cleveland secured its 41st win of the season.
Dellavedova, who was scoreless at half time, had a quiet night, finishing with four points, on two-of-10 shooting from the floor.
The Boomers guard went 0-6 from the floor in the Bucks' most recent win over the Phoenix Suns.
Milwaukee hosts the Denver Nuggets on Thursday.
