It is great to see that the whole roundabout is completed.
Even the central part is aesthetically pleasing.
Now St Aidans Road has two completed roundabouts to control and slow down the traffic, one at Glencoe Street and one at Edwards Road.
Also, I would like to congratulate the City of Greater Bendigo on the attractiveness of many of the central Bendigo streets.
Currently they are a picture with their green, well-maintained nature strips down the middle of major streets and attractive shady trees.
As a Bendigonian, I feel proud!
Brendan Delaney, Strathdale
Rewards flow for a job done badly
The CEO of Australia Post gets $5.6 million for increasing the cost and reducing the service.
Makes you wonder what he would have received if he did a good job.
Your retirement cheque’s in the mail, mate.
Meanwhile, Daniel Andrews says that criminals will be dealt with the "full force of the law".
There is the problem. They are.

Andrews government is a disaster for Victoria
From Corrections Minister Steve Herbert and his dogs in cars at the public expense, then forgetting to register a second house to now having another two Labor MPs rorting the system on allowances.
How many times can you rort the system and get away with it?
If this was any other employee in the public domain, they would face jail time.
Don’t forget the CFA dispute bubbling away in the background, East West Link and what about the desal plant we as Victorians are paying $1.8 million per day for that is broken before it’s even turned on.
We cannot afford to wait until November 2018.

Youth of today miss out on many of the benefits previously available
After the decision by the "unfair work commission" all we have heard is the fact that this government is now on life support.
As somebody who previously enjoyed regular employment, it is beyond belief what is happening to the youth of today, and they also could be classified in the same category as our federal government.
There are two ways to control people; frighten and demoralise them, as the top end of town do not under any circumstances want a confident and educated society, as it creates too many problems, and we are harder to control.
LNP governments of the past have revelled in such tactics, and by its latest comments have not learned anything.
They thought so much of the up coming decision they could not even be bothered to submit a submission.
Were they pressured by big business to butt out?
It is difficult to see any positives in the future for the young people, with things likely to get worse before they get better, if ever.
But even worse is the false hope being given to these forgotten people by someone who does not have their well-being as a priority, but simply political power.
Sadly, Australia is but a shadow of its past, with a fair go for everyone as its motto a distant memory, but for our youth of today, a constant reminder of how different things are for them.
