Traffic conditions at the Ravenswood intersection of the Calder Alternative Highway to the Calder Highway have changed as construction on the $86 million interchange continues.

Drivers are being urged to be aware of the changes that include no longer being able to cross over the Calder Highway from the Calder Alternative Highway and head towards Melbourne.
A temporary U-turn arrangement will be in place until the new interchange is complete and a signed detour will be in place for Melbourne-bound traffic on the Calder Alternative Highway.
Drivers will need to turn left and travel north on the Calder Highway to use the temporary U-turn.
The interchange will be an elevated circular roadway that will separate freight and slow-moving traffic from faster moving traffic.
It is expected to be completed in late 2017.
