It is the seventh incarnation of the biannual convention which started in 2014.
Organiser Peter Pascoe said he hopes to keep attracting stall holders and eventually fill the Bendigo Exhbiition Centre where the comic fair is held.
“Our long-term plan is to fill the exhibition centre,” he said.
“We are still booking out the last third of space, so hopefully we can get some more businesses related to pop culture to join in.”
Bendigo artists Chris Kennett and Graham Jackson are two of the creatives that will feature in artists alley.
“Artists Alley is a standard feature of the bigger and smaller conventions and we want to make it a constant feature at Bendigo,” Mr Pascoe said. “For most part it would see artists selling own comics, signing material and meeting and greeting fans.”
The Bendigo Record Comic and Toy Fair is on March 12.
