The Scorpions are the clear underogs against the State League 4 club, but they go into the game full of confidence after scoring two impressive wins in the past fortnight to become the first Bendigo Amateur Soccer League club to qualify for the Australia-wide knockout competition.
Star recruit Septemer Htoo scored a brace for Epsom against Gisborne. Epsom defeated Waverly 12-0 and then rallied from a 2-0 second-half deficit to beat Gisborne 4-2 last Saturday.
Dandenong South finished fifth in State League 4 last year, winning 10 of its 22 games.The club had a poor finish to the season – winning just one of its final seven matches. The match will be played at Dandenong South’s home ground – George Andrews Reserve – at 6pm on Saturday night.
