He was well supported by Heath Lock, who scored 21 before being run out, and Harley Silke, who contributed an unbeaten 17.

With momentum on their side, the Redbacks put the lid on a remarkable premiership won by dismissing Weddderburn for 82 of 43.3 overs.

Skipper Mason carried on his good form with the ball, taking three wickets, including the key scalp of Isaac Holt for 15.

Opener Oscar Holt top scored for Wedderburn with 26, but his dismissal, caught by Mason off the bowling of Liam McNeill, signalled the end of his side's hopes.

McNeill (2-22), Gabe Nevins (2-8) and Cody Anderson (2-12) all played their part with the ball for Arnold.

Mason capped an excellent finals series by being named player of the match.

The skipper scored an unbeaten 53 in a semi-final win against Kingower.
