Atley has been selected in the Power's squad to tackle St Kilda in the teams' JLT Community Series clash at Etihad Stadium.
The midfielder is joined in the 29-player squad by former Pioneers' teammate Aidyn Johnson.
Midfielder Atley was drafted by the Power with pick 32 in last November's AFL national draft.
Johnson was drafted a year earlier with pick 45, but is yet to make his senior debut.
The young pair are joined in the squad by former Pioneer Ollie Wines, who starts the 2017 season as the Power's new vice-captain.
Atley was one of three recent draftees to impress in the Power's annual pre-season trial game against Port Adelaide's SANFL team last weekend, ending the match at Alberton Oval with a goal.
Johnson contributed two goals in a 50-point win.
Thursday's game starts at 7.40pm.
