A senior CFA member has been stood down following the discovery of an unauthorised security camera in a storage shed that has been used by female volunteers to get changed.
A police spokesperson said it would be inappropriate for Victoria Police to comment further on the matter as it was still under assessment.
In a statement, the CFA said a full investigation was under way into the circumstances surrounding the presence of the camera.
The CFA said the camera had been removed and the footage secured.
The organisation was in the process of contacting the affected individuals and said it would provide support.
