“Both the senior and junior clubs are currently working together to professionalise the way the club runs on and off the field,” Kangaroo Flat senior president Greg McClure said this week.
“The junior club will this year see brand new playing jumpers for all 10 teams, along with better equipment for training.
“This has been made possible by the hard work put in by the junior committee of 2016.”
The president of the Roos’ juniors is Rocky Collins.
“Rocky is looking forward to the development of the junior players with the senior club,” McClure said.
The Roos will hold a junior sign-up day on Sunday, February 26, from 10am to 2pm at their home ground, Bendigo Mazda Oval.
The day will include a free sausage sizzle.
In another development for Kangaroo Flat this year, the club will also introduce new under-15 girls netball and football teams.
