POLICE are searching for thieves who stole several pythons, a lizard and a puppy from a pet shop early on Wednesday morning.

Two male offenders wearing masks smashed a front window of a pet shop in Hare Street, Echuca about 12.15am.
They made off with an olive python, a black-headed python, a north-western python, three coastal pythons, a bearded lizard and a small kelpie.
Sergeant Rod Pell from Echuca police said the men were seen talking to two women in the area around that time.
He urged the women to come forward to police.
Anyone else with information is also asked to call Echuca police on 5483 1500.
