Both the under-16 and under-14 male teams finished third in their western conferences, each missing out on a spot in the semi-finals on net run-rate.
The under-16 and under-14 teams each had 3-1 records after their four preliminary matches.
Both teams were due to play consolation semi-finals on Friday, but the two matches were abandoned because of wet weather in Melbourne.
Northern Rivers ended the State Championships with one title after its under-14 females beat South East Bayside in their final last Friday.
