WHIPSTICK: A burglar made verbal threats towards a Whipstick man during an attempted break-in on Thursday night.
Three men had broken into a shed on the property on Eaglehawk-Neilborough Road at 9.15pm, before they were disturbed by the property owner.
Two fled to a waiting vehicle, before a third man approached the property owner and made the threats. He then fled.
No weapon was used during the incident, and no items were stolen.
LONG GULLY: Police are searching for an offender responsible for smashing three windows of a house in Long Gully in the early hours of Friday morning.
The incident occurred at a house on Hercules Street, and caused $1000 damage.
The resident heard the incident at 12.30am and contacted police.
The offender is unknown and the attack was believed to be unprovoked.
