Local band Moodswing will fill the theatre’s garden and brick courtyard with jazzy tunes from 4.30pm.
The Brickyard Gigs will also have outdoor bar and barbecue will feature alongside the music as well as coffee and choctops from the cafe.
The theatre’s five new owners have a wide range of experience from the music, film and hospitality industries.
Co-owners Felicity Cripps and Tim Heath both play in bands and hope to host a variety of bands in the coming months.
“Tim has been talking to touring agencies and friends in industry and we will hopefully have an eclectic mix of music, bands and even dances,” Felicity said in December.
The Brickyard Gig featuring Moodswing is at the Theatre Royal on Sunday, January 15, from 4.30pm.
