Ten youngsters who are part of Bendigo’s junior Hot Shots program have been invited to participate in the Australian Open Kids on Court Showcase Experience on Sunday, January 22.
The players, who will be accompanied by coaches Stephen Storer and Brianna Smith, will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the crowd on either Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena or Hisense Arena prior to what will be day seven action at the open.
“It’s going to be a very exciting day for the children, who after their on-court session will receive a day pass to the Open,” Storer said.
The Hot Shots program targets players aged four to eight.
Who is playing at the Open: Marli Davis, Isabella Monotti, Olivia Cheng, Eloise Cheng, Willow Quigley, Ella Wells, Harry Wells, Zac Nicholson, James Rykers, Nikolay Paskins.
