Police allege Daisy Thomas, 24, was dealing the drug after she was also caught with a notepad showing 11 drug sales and mobile phones with text messages related to drug dealing.
Thomas appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with trafficking a drug of dependence.
Police spotted Thomas at the Apco service station in Strathdale at 5.13am on December 31 and approached her vehicle.
Thomas attempted to start her car and shut the door, but was restrained by police.
A search of her vehicle allegedly uncovered three zip bags containing 1.56 grams of ice, two digital scales, $700 cash, and a notepad outlining drug debts of $4460.
Two mobile phones allegedly contained at least 50 text messages relating to the sale of drugs.
Thomas was taken to the Bendigo police station where she provided no comment.
She was also caught allegedly drug driving on December 18 and 21, and faces a number of charges for an incident at the Bendigo police station on October 4.
Thomas drove to visit her partner while he was in custody, and was questioned by police about the possible presence of drugs in her car.
She attempted to flee the police station and was taken into custody. A police search of her car allegedly uncovered small bundles of heroin and ice, and a laptop and Macbook reported stolen from Strathdale.
Thomas represented herself in court on Tuesday and said she was keen to move on with her life.
“I have never been held in cells before,” she told the court.
“I am willing to do what I can to prove that I have changed my ways.
“I don’t want my life to go down this track.”
Magistrate Bruce Cottrell said it was concerning that Thomas had been arrested just 10 days after she was released on bail for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs.
“The reality is that you’ve been given a substantial opportunity by the court, by your own admission you have not complied with the community corrections order,” he said.
“The prosecution have a very strong case against you.”
Thomas was remanded in custody to next appear in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on January 16.
