The 2017 Tac Cup draw was released on Thursday, with the Pioneers to start against the Murray Bushrangers at Punt Road on March 25 at 3.15pm.
The Pioneers’ first home game at the QEO will be part of a country triple-header in round three.
The Pioneers versus Gippsland Power, Murray Bushrangers against Geelong Falcons and North Ballarat versus Dandenong Stingrays will all be played at the QEO on Saturday, April 8.
The Pioneers have a Friday night home game against Oakleigh on April 21, while the round five game against the Northern Knights at the QEO will be played after the BFNL clash between South Bendigo and Maryborough.
The TAC Cup finals system has changed, with all finals matches to be elimination finals. In the first first week, first plays eighth, second plays seventh, third plays sixth and fourth tackles fifth. The four winners advance to the preliminary finals.
