Griffin, a two-time championship and two-time grand final MVP with the Spirit, was instrumental in the team's 70-60 win over the Capitals at Bendigo Stadium last Friday.
The win delivered the Spirit their 10th win of the season, to head into the Christmas break in second place on the league ladder.
Griffin finished the night with 26 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks.
She hit three three-pointers, shooting at 39 per cent for the game.
Griffin was at her very best in the second half after finishing the first two quarters with seven points.
With the persistent Capitals pulling within four points of the Spirit inside the first minute of the final quarter, Griffin put the result beyond doubt, totalling nine-points in a devastating 63-second period in which the home side scored 11 unanswered points.
Griffin finished the quarter with 13 points, just two-points fewer than the Capitals' final term output.
Her effort will earn the former import a second straight WNBL team of the week nomination.
Griffin, a two-time WNBL All-Star Five selection, is enjoying another standout season for the 10-5 Spirit.
Her 15.9 points per game and 8.1 rebound average are both inside the league's top 10.
The Spirit resume their 2016-17 campaign on January 7 against the Perth Lynx in Western Australia.
A home game against Sydney Uni Flames follows at Bendigo Stadium on January 13.
