In the BDCA under-14A competition, Gamble showed his talent with the bat as the Jets had a big win over Mandurang.
Batting at No.4, 13-year-old Gamble cracked an unbeaten 122 off just 92 balls in the Jets’ massive total of 7-382 off 57 overs.
Gamble blasted 13 boundaries and one six in his century.
Meanwhile, 15-year-old medium-pacer Kingsley achieved one of the most sought-after feats for a bowler when he took a hat-trick in Strathfieldsaye’s EVCA division three win over Golden Gully.
Kingsley’s figures of 4-18 off six overs included the consecutive dismissals of Greg Olsen (caught), Leigh Halliwell (caught) and Ethan Gray (caught).
Kingsley’s demolition with the ball – he also bowled James Barri – sparked a collapse in which the Cobras lost 6-2 in a 150-run defeat.
