Newstead Live! is held on the Australia Day weekend each year and features performers from a variety of musical styles including traditional, singer writers, blues, roots and world.
This year Andy Irvine (from Irish folk band Planxty), Indigenous spokesman and singer Kutcha Edwards and singer Greg Champion from the Coodabeen Champions will perform.
Acoustic musicians Rowena Wise, Senor Cabrales, the White Mountaineers and the Mae Trio will perform as will young Australian songwriter Enda Kelly and traditional ballad singer and historian Danny Spooner.
Venues will be spread through the town with a children’s program, choirs, workshops, spoken word sessions and concerts all on offer.
