If the real white-bearded, red-suited old man with a sack full of toys rocked up to JG Edwards Oval  this evening you wouldn’t have known it. 

Because the Strathfieldsaye oval was awash in Santa Clause look-alikes yesterday as the community flocked to sing carols.

The oval hosted dozens of impromptu soccer games and was littered with picnic rugs and camping chairs as locals made the most of a glorious summer afternoon to spend time together.
